Obituary

Obituary for Anna Maria Ormsby (Giannini)

Anna Maria (Giannini) Ormsby, age 60 of Ilderton, Ontario, Canada (formally of Seymour), beloved wife of the late Michael B. Ormsby, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in her home. Born in Timmis, Ontario, Canada, on February 18, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Patrizio and Maria (Neri) Giannini.
As a young child, Anna was a shepherd while living on her family’s farm, caring for her father’s sheep. Later in life, she became a certified nurse’s aide working at Shady Knoll in Seymour. Anna will be fondly remembered for her love of goats, lumberjacks and her two cats (Leonardo and Mona Lisa). She now is finally with the eternal “love of her life”, Michael.

Survivors include her cherished children, Leah Bolduc and her husband Robert of Seymour, and Robert Ormsby and his wife Katica of SC; two adored grandchildren, Kyle and Rachel; siblings, Pasquale Giannini and his wife Lise of Canada, and Lisa Guidolin and her husband Larry of Canada, as well as her goddaughter Tabitha, special friend Kenneth Cavaliere, and several nieces and nephews.

First memorial service will take place on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11am directly in Living Hope Church, 120 Main St., Lucan, Ontario NOM 2JO.

Second memorial service will take place on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 6pm in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Family and friends are invited to greet the family from 5pm until the time of service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

First met Anna and her family when they were living at 10 Eddystone Ave, Toronto Canada where they hired me as their babysitter to their 2 year old daughter, Leah, and 4 year old son, Robbie, Visited them when they were in Bridgeport, CT to become a godmother to Leah. What an honour that was.
Miss her giggles and laughter. Will miss her loving old fashion hand written letters.
Will remember her giving nature, thoughtful ways and positive attitude.
