Miss Gloria, Bill, Brian, Miss Bella and Miss Melissa:
I wish there was something I could do or say to lessen the sadness that you all feel but I know that there isn't as what can someone say in the light of such sadness? What can anyone do to lift the weight of the pain that comes with losing someone so close to you, so young... somone who had such a profound impact on each of your lives and will continue to in some way, shape, or form as long as you live?
The hardest impact will undoubtedly be on Miss Bella who is so young to have lost her dad. I am so deeply sorry that you have to endure this young miss.. but know that your father was a good person with a good heart. Always remember that. Live happy and live well. Treat others with a love and respect that will make your dad proud... as surely he was always so proud of you! When you do or say things do so in a way that reflects well on your dad as you are his legacy and he will live on through you directly and figuratively. He surely loved you deeply, as deeply as a father could love a daughter.
Bill and Miss Gloria.. I am in South Carolina 800 miles away and have no way to get up there otherwise I'd have been there at the wake and funeral. Please forgive me for not being able to be there in person ...but at least know that my heart and prayers will most certainly be with you all daily. Do not hesitate to contact me if you ever want to talk.

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of Gordon. Our thoughts are with his family and his daughter, Bella, that we know he loved and adored so much.
