Robbi: Love, light & peace to you & your family during this time of loss. If there's anything you need from me--a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear--just let me know. This life can be wonderful, but as we know by faith in the Gospel--that eternal #1 bestseller--it's nothing compared to the one to come--that's the main thing that got me through the loss of my father some years back. We simply must live in joyful hope of a better life to come despite the gut-punch sadness loss like this always brings. Here's wishing you some of that now--I'll be lifting up you & yours in prayer & song at Mass this weekend! Warmly & lovingly, Stephen T. Fians, MSLIS, CAS-DS

P.S. Speaking of Scriptures, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 has brought me wonderful comfort in the past---might work for you as well.
