BEACON FALLS: Michael J. Patrick, Jr., age 70 of Beacon Falls, beloved husband of Kathleen (Fitzpatrick) Patrick, entered peaceful rest surrounded by family on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Waterbury Hospital. Born in Waterbury on December 10, 1947, he was a son of the late Michael J. Sr., and Hazel (Horn) Patrick. A proud Army veteran during the Vietnam War, Michael was a member of the American Legion Post 25 in Beacon Falls. He enjoyed gardening and drumming, but most of all spending time with his family, especially playing mini-golf with his grandchildren, fishing with his sons, and vacations with his wife in Narragansett, RI, and Stowe, VT.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, survivors include his loving children, Michael J. Patrick, III, and his wife Michelle of Monroe, Joseph Patrick and his companion Christine Tampellini of Naugatuck; sisters, Susan Schmidt and Sharon Patrick of Cheshire; two cherished grandchildren, Alex and Leah, as well as numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 starting at 9 am in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Beacon Falls. Calling hours will take place on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael’s name can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
